The Citroën Dyane: Design, technology and the unique Citroën style

The Citroën Dyane was designed by Panhard and later by Jacques Charreton, who introduced the characteristic concave door design. The car remained compact, but looked more modern and practical than the 2CV.

Key features of the Dyane:

  • Comfortable Citroën suspension system

  • Flat windshield with plenty of glass surface

  • Practical fifth door

  • Characteristic hollow door shape

  • More loading space than the 2CV

The Dyane combined style, simplicity and functionality as only Citroën could.
